Ironman VS. Batman

Over the years there have been many awesome match-ups.  Among these great match-ups are: Superman and Lex Luther, MacGyver and Murdock, Colts and Patriots ect.  The reoccuring substance of every good rivalry is Good VS. Evil.  The thing about Good VS. Evil is that everyone always knows how the fight will end.  That's why I would like to see a battle that is so epic that it is impossible to see how this fight will end, a fight with Good VS. Good.  Why don't we make it interesting and take two hero's that don't necessarily have superpowers?  This way we can make it even and have no controversy over the outcome. We can take two people who are rich beyond measure, both very smart, and both can get any lady they want.  Thats right, I am talking about Ironman and Batman.  They both have their own fighting styles, and their own equipment, but they are both very good at fighting criminals.  My question is who is better.

BATMAN

Batman is the most powerful businessman in Gotham, Bruce Wayne.  He has one of the greatest weapon creators, Lucious Fox, on his side.  He has also gone through years of training and fighting random, unfortunate victims.  Batman's biggest flaw is his rule for no killing.  Batman's most memorable job was the capture of the Joker.

IRONMAN

Ironman is the most decorated weapon designer in the world,  Tony Stark.  Stark has no one behind him creating suits and weapons for him, but his sense of privacy keeps all possibilty of a traitor coming in and stealing is ideas.  Ironman has no rules, if someone deserves to die, he wont hesitate to kill.  Ironman's most memorably job was killing terrorists.

As you can see they are both pretty even.  I would like to see this fight on tv someday.  Once i do can will finally be able to sleep soundly.  When will the movie producers realize that we want to know who will win the great battle of Good VS. Good?

PaperFace

I have recently been listening to a CD by the mozart of our time, Rivers Cuomo, and I heard a song come on called Paperface. As I dug deeper to find out the meaning of this phrase I read a little thing that Rivers wrote about it. He explained a story giving an example of what he meant by this. He tells of a girl he went to school with who was the prettiest, and smartest girl in his grade. Years later his friend tells him that this particular girl took of and stole a car, shot a cop, and ran to New Orleans. After I saw this I was thinking about all the people who hold who they truly are inside because they are scared they won't be accepted for who they really are. I have to admit that I fall into this category. Sometimes I find myself not wanting to tell my friends what I really think or something like that. This is sad I know, but for some reason, I don't think I am the only one. I know that lots of people are very different in front of other people. We all know a person who is cool when you are with them, but when they are around someone cooler than yourself, they are a total douchemouth. This is what I really wanted to talk about. I want to let all these people who try to act cooler when they are around other people know how annoying they are. Its ok to sometimes not act outgoing around everyone, but don't try to be a totally different person. So look inside and find your paperface, and take it off, just let your true self come out. If someone wont accept you for who you are, why do you want them to accept you at all? Think about it.

Rock Stars

Today I was at the Kage doing my weekly show Funkiness in the City, when I started thinking about how awesome some rockstars really are. When some people start thinking about rock stars, they think low life, skumbags who don't do anything but sit around and do drugs and other awesome things. But the truth is, successful rockstars are very passionate about their work. How can someone make such good music if they are the lazy ass everyone thinks they are? I guess some rock stars didn't really go to much schooling, but who says you are smart if you go to college? Some of my friends who are in school are still pretty damn stupid. Now i would like to dive deeper into the kick ass smart guys who can really rock.
There are two Rock Stars that I have recently found out are, in fact, briliant. The first of which is Rivers Cuomo. He is the lead singer of my favorite band, Weezer. Rivers is not only a briliant song writer but he also graduated with a masters in English from Harvard. Rivers is not a Rock Star who wanted all the fame just for being a popstar writer. He wants to be known like the classical composers such as Mozart or Beethoven.
The next, even smarter Rock Star is Bryan "Dexter" Holland. He is the lead singer of another very good band The Offspring. Dexter actually gained his nickname for being so smart. He was the valedictorian of his high school and went on the gain a Ph.D in Microbiology from USC. How much more badass does that get?
Rock Stars can be smart. Not all Rock Stars though. Some of them are those kind of people who sit around and suck at making music and just sit around and wallow in their own douchebaggery filth. I know.... Gross
